A Saturday that started off great but ended in the worst way for Team Go Eleven and Philipp Oettl; after securing the third position in FP 3, a Superpole affected by yellow flags, and Race 1 cut short due to a fall, they dashed the hopes for the Piemontese team to bring home an excellent result. The FP 3 provided a result that was nothing short of surprising; Philipp brought his Ducati Panigale V4-RS to the third position, just two tenths behind Alvaro Bautista. During the session, which started with used tires, Philipp tried to fine-tune the engine brake and expressed satisfaction at the end of the session, especially for breaking the 34.0 barrier at Misano!
